Tumbler discharge conveyor with scraper

After forming, the cereal pellets are fed into a flavoring unit (a rotating drum) where various flavors are injected and mixed in. The flavored product is sticky and must be transferred to the dryer.
To eliminate the risk of product buildup on the belt—and the potential for long-term contamination—a spring-loaded scraper was installed to detach any product that did not discharge into the dryer.
Additionally, the belt is easily removable for cleaning off-site.
